What does Expert Report Partners do?
ERP helps solicitors and professional clients identify independent expertise for medico-legal reports, assessments and document reviews, then coordinates the proposed next steps.
Which types of expertise can I enquire about?
Our expertise directory covers medical, psychological, social care and related disciplines. If you are unsure which discipline fits your questions, describe the issues in an enquiry and we can discuss the appropriate route.
What information should I include in an enquiry?
Tell us the report or expertise needed, the questions to be addressed, relevant deadlines and whether an assessment may be required. Please do not send full medical records or unnecessary sensitive personal information through the initial web form.
How are fees and timescales confirmed?
Where appropriate expertise is available, ERP will provide relevant expert information, availability, an anticipated timescale and a quotation for your consideration. These details are confirmed for each instruction; submitting an enquiry does not reserve an expert or deadline.
Does submitting the form formally instruct an expert?
No. The form starts an enquiry only. An instruction proceeds after you have reviewed and accepted the proposal and the relevant terms and arrangements have been agreed.
Can I send case papers with the enquiry?
Please do not attach or email sensitive case papers in an initial enquiry. If documents are needed, an appropriate secure transfer method can be agreed after initial contact.
Do you support remote and face-to-face assessments?
Assessment format depends on the expert, the instruction and the circumstances. Indicate your preference in the enquiry; availability and suitability will be confirmed before you proceed.
