Independent expertise across the UK

Clinical & Medical Negligence

Independent clinical opinions, breach of duty, causation and prognosis.

A medical expert may be asked to consider the standard of care, causation, condition, prognosis and treatment in light of the relevant records and instructions. The appropriate specialty and questions depend on the case.

Instructions we can discuss

When making an enquiry, explain the questions to be addressed, the relevant proceedings, any hearing or reporting deadline, the location and whether a remote or face-to-face assessment is being considered. If you are unsure which discipline is appropriate, describe the issues and ERP can help consider the expertise needed.

What happens next

ERP will review the enquiry and, where a suitable expert can be identified, provide relevant information, availability, an anticipated timescale and a quotation for your consideration. No expert, appointment or deadline is confirmed until agreed for the individual instruction.

Discuss an instruction with ERP or review how the process works.
